Farm Happenings of 2024

This is our very FIRST blog post!! How exciting is that?!?! I'll admit, I'm not very tech savvy, but here I am, winging it!! There's so many things I want to share with you, so thank you for subscribing. We will send out bi-weekly blog posts to keep you up to date on all the things!!

CSA's (Community Supported Agriculture)

What is a C.S.A.? Community Supported Agriculture is a wonderful way to support local farms and agriculture, by buying fresh, in season produce and offerings. It's basically a subscription to our farm!! You choose your budget, and the frequency, and we make a basket based on what's in season here at the farm. You can choose from our jams, flowers, pickles, and organic produce. We started our C.S.A. program in 2023, and plan to expand this coming year. I'll send out more info as the growing season draws near.

Bloom Bar

We plan to have our "Bloom Bar" open three days a week from June-October. Our store will have set open hours where you can come in, select your vase, and make your own bouquet to take home. It was a customer favorite last year!! We will have a large selection of in season flowers grown on our farm to choose from. It's therapeutic to create. One of my very favorite things to do is to create beautiful bouquets, and I want to share that with everyone.

Events

Did you know we hold events here on our farm? While we mainly use this barn for our "store", we also rent it out for events. Its a hit here for kids birthday parties!! Contact us for rental inquiries.

New Website

We recently finished our webpage!! In the beginning we got by with just using our Facebook page for orders, but I wanted customers to have a more streamlined place to see what we offer as well. You can now place orders online. For now, only our jam is available on the site until our gardens, and farm, are in full swing. You can also send us messages through our site, and barn rental inquiries.

Free Little Library

YALL!!! I think this is one of my most cherished little things on our farm. I always dreamed of having a "free little library" for our community. I want everyone to love books a much as I do!! Stop by the front of our farm anytime to grab a book for your kids, or even donate if you choose. We have books for all ages of kids, even teens.

I think that is all for now!! I can't wait for the 2024 farm season to be in full swing again. Oh how I have missed the gardens, and the guests!!
